“I first met Angelica Christi in 1990 in Oregon when I was having Blueprints made of an award-winning landscape project I had completed. Angelica came over to view my drawings and loved my style, which I had noted was similar to the theme of drawings she had done. She wanted to apprentice with me as she knew the importance of interior and exterior design creating a masterful harmony, and I agreed. Angelica worked for me on landscape projects for almost two years.
At the time, I had begun work as a consultant and landscape architect on a large 20-acre property with a purposed 21,000 sq ft home. Angelica was the first one I thought of to refer as a Designer on the project due to her ability and love for palatial design.
She proved her skills with her keen eye for craftsmanship, beauty and quality. She was a skilled negotiator of art and antiques, and the ability to suggest and choose quality products and hard surfaces that would endure over generations.
After the completion of this job, and I began to do interior design, I brought Angelica into my upper-end projects that required faux-finishes or Venetian plasters, as this was another specialty of hers. This included walls, furniture, and fixtures. Angelica has an eye for color, texture, and flow, and I could trust that because of her ability to take in the environment, as well as seeing my vision and the client’s wishes into consideration, each project was a great success.
