You can’t fly if you allow your thoughts to clip your wings. I was thinking about this last night, playing small because ‘what people think?’ Sure the adult can say "that’s ridiculous what does it matter what other people think?," and even "I’m fearless" but the truth is many of us have childhood voices popping up that say “who do you think you are “ or don’t act so big “ or “you think you’re so special “—repetitive ridiculous comments spoken to a 4 or 5-year-old. If we had known better we would’ve thought, “Yep that’s me, pretty special “but instead it became shaming. Time to break out of prison, those patterns of the mind that keep us playing small. @valeryberky for the reminder in one of your posts I saw this morning. ❣️ "The greatest prison that many live in is the fear of what other people think"
Wow! it is a prison, and we think we are free!
WANT TO BREAK THOSE PATTERNS?
