YEARNING FOR THE PAST & THE GIFT OF LETTING IT GO!

I can now look at one of my homes and remember the peace and joy I felt every time I came to spend a few weeks here --I no longer feel the regret. And it brings me delight that #1.  I created something from nothing and made it beautiful. #2. I designed all the furniture and had it built.  #3. Great parties here! #4. Fantastic seclusions here!

I realized a while back that I had still been energetically connected to past losses. A life or things I once owned. When we wonder why the new and higher choices are not opening as quickly as we had hoped, we have to look at this question, "are you still holding onto what was?"

There is no room for a new reality to come into existence the way we envisioned. Why? Because your attention is divided, and the conscious or unconscious mind has weakened/broken the direct connection and power of who you are and what is attempting, sincerely striving, to open into your reality.

It is getting a mixed signal, so it just pauses... or crawls along. And waits. And waits. Until one day you can break the attachment to regret, loss, 'if only,' why?, unfair, and all the other reasons that keep the mind, not Soul, from reaching back to what no longer exists.
We must not live in the past to be empowered! We can remember our history and the lessons and joys of it, but not rewind and rewind what was only meant to be chapters of a vibrant and exciting journey, which only brings heartache when it should just convey gratitude for the experiences in the first place.

I called it Casa Artista, and it was lovely to fly in, have my taxi pick up my fresh flowers from my favorite florist, put them in a vase and slide open the walls of glass. My peaceful haven. (unless a sometimes wild party just happened)  I finally let this one go, it took a long time because of the peace I felt here. Now I have many havens that feed my Soul!

Now when I see photos of some of my homes; ones I designed, decorated, were sanctuaries I loved, and have many fond memories of, I smile and think, 'wow, wasn't that fun to create those spaces and have so many great moments in that life!'
But that is just one chapter of the life I came to experience. The life I originated to learn and grow and expand because of this adventure. The life I could align with joy and grace, or pain and sadness, and each was an expression of the Souls desire to feel and experience.

Casa Bella was so different than designing for my 'serious clients' that wanted everything to match. It was fun and integrated ancient with new, light with dark, art and play with function... just fun coming back for months or weeks it always brought joy! (except for the divorce part of it--but what lessons I learned about myself!) And with all I loved inside, what I loved the most was my flowers!

So, thank yourself for the fantastic human that you are that has created whatever you have; love, heartache, suffering, joy, peace, stress, tragedy, illness, bliss. Each comes with gifts that we can pass on to others from the discoveries we make along the journey!

The most potent healers are the ones that went through the darkest times and realized the treasures within the experience.

Thank you for your contribution to the world!

Put all your enthusiasm, and appreciation into NOW and be the light you came to experience.

As for my life in letting go to regret, my whole Being feels more expansive every moment... it is all so exciting to discover this moment and what is unfolding!

May your day be blessed and your memories treasured --but let them go!
